Trail Rules
- Unauthorized motorized vehicles not permitted
- Be courteous to other trail users at all times
- Keep right, always pass on the left
- Give audible warning when passing
- Maintain single file to allow passing
- Keep pets on leash
- Clean up after your pet
The Trail Rules were established by the Central Virginia Transportation Authority and its partners during the creation of the Fall Line’s Wayfinding Study, which you can find here.
Beyond the official rules, please be mindful of all traffic laws, considerate of neighboring residents and businesses, respectful of placemaking and landscaping amenities that require care and maintenance, and follow the golden rule.
The Fall Line has a long way to go to be completed, and it’s essential that people associate it with a positive experience for all.
